Smok FAQs
Is Smok a Good Vape Brand?
Yes, Smok is one of the top brands and a household name for many years, creating some of the most innovative devices and accessories we know today, from the flagship Smok Alien and accompanying mini baby beast tank to the Smok RPM mod and pod collections.
Whether you’re seeking something discreet that easily fits in the pocket like the Smok Novo or a bulky mod with super advanced features and settings to up your cloud game such as the R-Kiss series, Smok is a pioneer that keeps on churning out the best vape kits to suit all preferences.
How Long Does a Smok Vape Last?
Generally, the Smok devices themselves are built with strong hardware materials that should last provided you take decent care and don’t drop often.
Meanwhile, the coils should last you at least 7 days and anywhere up to 21 days depending on a few factors.
This can include the type of e-liquid you’re using, the wattage you’re vaping at, whether you prime the coils correctly and how often you vape throughout the day.
You should be able to tell when a replacement is needed when the flavour begins to fade. Smok pods for Smok pod kits will need to be changed more often than Smok tanks, which can last up to a month or longer if maintained well.
Do You Vape Mouth to Lung or Direct Lung With Smok?
With Smok, you have the choice of three different techniques when vaping. First, there is direct lung vaping, which Smok is renowned for, creating some of the largest cloud experiences from any brand in the industry, with their wide open airflow Sub-Ohm tanks. The next prominent style is a tight mouth-to-lung vaping draw, similar to the technique you would use while smoking, which is the easiest way to transition for vapers. Finally is the trending RDL way to vape - a restrictive direct into-the-lung inhalation technique, a combination of the two above. You can find a range of Smok kits above that cater to that, such as the Smok RPM 85 & 100 mods.
Are Smok Vapes Refillable?
Aside from the popular disposable vapes Smok has produced such as the Mbar and Novo Bars, you can refill all of the pod kits and mod devices with supporting vape tanks or pods created by Smok. Refilling is a more sustainable and wallet-friendly way to continue vaping while you reduce your nicotine levels. However, Smok disposables are a great entry to e-cigarettes after switching from smoking because you don’t need to top up e-liquid levels yourself.
What’s the Best Smok Vape?
With the Smok brand, there is no clear favourite, but plenty of highly popular products instead that cover a mixture of Sub-Ohm, MTL vaping or crossover devices. For mods, we recommend the Smok R-Kiss 2 or the Smok RPM 85 and 100 depending on whether you want a large internal or external battery. For pods, you can’t look further than the Nord series with the Smok Nord 5 the latest pocket-friendly device, which is also geared towards Sub-Ohm vaping. For MTL pod vaping try the Smok Solus kits.
